My purpose in attending this retreat was to be able to step out of the day-to-day activities so I could reflect on where Springstead Solutions began, how it has evolved and obtain clarity on where we are going.
When you are in the trenches of building a business, you can find yourself caught up in a whirlwind of opportunities and possibilities leading to several business pivots which can then cause you to begin to venture off your path to success. I could feel this happening and it was causing me to lose steam and motivation in moving anything forward as I was waiting for the next moment I decided to tweak, change, or improve one more thing which left us in a constant mindset of “projects that never end”! Draining!
The retreat marketed that it was “An intensive workshop retreat to discover your why, realign to your purpose and start prioritizing you, so that you can increase the impact you will make on the world and those you love.” And that by the end I would

Signing Up Changed Everything: From Overwhelm to Clarity and Confidence
When I read that, I KNEW that these were the things that I was missing that would allow me to finally move forward with confidence and peace to realize the dream I had when I decided to venture into the entrepreneurial world…………….so I signed up. Once registered I found myself experiencing two very conflicting feelings:
- Excitement around the idea that I would FINALLY be able to brain dump ALL the feelings, emotions, successes, failures and lessons and would be able to walk away with the tools to let me communicate what we are about and what it is we do!
- Concern that this was going to be one more thing I invest in that will allow me to hear cool things and say cool things but end up coming home with a stack of notes and to-dos to get this to completion which would lead to more overwhelm and more disappointment that I could not just simply do this on my own.
Walking Away Inspired and Empowered
48 hours later, I’m typing this feeling lighter, more excited, and fully motivated. The retreat was incredible, and I walked away with exactly what was promised. From the curriculum to the exercises and the care taken with us, I knew I had to share this! To my fellow entrepreneurial women—if you’re struggling in this area, I wholeheartedly support this program.
